White Star Black Lines
Pier 54 - NYC. The remains of the Cunard White Star Pier. Destroyed by NYC in 1991, it was the last port from which the RMS Lusitania sailed in 1915 before being torpedoed by the Germans and becoming a rallying cry for American involvement in World War I. It was also the pier that welcomed the Titanic survivors three years earlier.
