Ghost Town
While searching for Nevada ghost towns, I came across Rhyolite, off of US Highway 95. At its entrance, standing like a sentinel, were the remains of this building looking out at what was once a bustling mining town. Like the effects of the sun on the rock that the town was named after, the sun reflected off of the stones, casting shadows on the building, and across the plains to shine on the mountain to its distance.
